Welcome to Adrian Elementary, home of the Dragons!

Adrian Elementary School consists of preschool age children all the way through 5th grade.  We have three preschool sections, as we have two AM sections and one PM section for 3-4 year olds on Tuesday and Thursday, along with two AM sections and one PM section for 4-5 year olds on Monday, Wednesday, and Friday.  Both classes run from 8:00-11:00 and 12:15-3:15 on their specified days.  AES also has a transitional kindergarten class, that focuses primarily on basic kindergarten readiness skills, accompanied by a large focus on helping students to develop the social and emotional skills required to be successful in kindergarten.  All K-5 students at AES have physical education class everyday, social emotional activities once a week on top of what is done in the classroom, music twice a week, library once a week, and computer activities twice a week. We have a wide variety of academic extracurricular activities that our 5th grade students can participate in including Math Masters, a local spelling bee in which the top 5 students advance on to the regional competition, and band.  We also have additional extracurricular activities that students can participate in including youth basketball, wrestling, flag football, volleyball, and JO volleyball.  During the summer, our students have the opportunity to participate in our summer recreational program, which involves a wide variety of activities and camps.  We take a lot of pride in the success we have at AES and welcome all!  If you would like additional information, please contact the elementary office at 507 483-2225.
