At Kids Connection Preschool, we believe that early childhood education is essential in providing children with the building blocks for future learning. We believe in focusing on the development of the whole child fostering cognitive, communication, social/emotional, and physical development. We provide a safe and inviting learning environment for children to explore, learn, and grow together.
The program currently follows criteria for Minnesota School Readiness and the Early Childhood Indicators of Progress. In addition to these curricular guidelines, the following curricula are used to enrich the learning process:
Handwriting Without Tears
We also utilize the Teaching Strategies Gold system for data collection/child assessment.

In addition, they are given an introduction to letter and number recognition through activities designed to promote early literacy skills in math and language. Group time and circle time include opportunities for singing, art, hands on activities, movement, stories, and language development.
